Dr. Jasmina Grbović Novaković was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1973. She graduated from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade in 1999. In 2005 she gained Ph. D. in Physical Chemistry at the same faculty. Postdoctoral position at ENEA Cassacia Rome she obtained in 2008. She has a permanent position as a Full Research Professor at the Vinča Institute. Her fields of expertise are mechanochemical synthesis, ion beam modification of materials, development of energy-related materials, and sensors. She is head of the Centre of Excellence for Hydrogen and Renewable Energy and a member of the National Entity for Acquisition of Scientific Titles. She was the President of the Serbian Society for Microscopy. She is a Member of the Advisory Board of Hydrogen Economy Initiative Serbia, a member of the program boards of 20 conferences, a mentor of 5 Ph.D. theses, a guest editor of the IJHE, and an Associate Editor of Gas Science and Engineering IAHE Outstanding Service Award of the International Association of Hydrogen Energy in 2009. She is the Congress Ambassador of Serbia. She published more than 70 journal papers and over 200 conference contributions. Cited over 1600 times, h factor 25. Mother of 3.
