It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2 International Conference on Chemo and BioInformatics (ICCBIKG 2023) organized by the Institute for Information Technologies, University of Kragujevac. This year’s conference will be held in Kragujevac, Serbia, on September 28-29, 2023, in a hybrid form- with a combination of both in-person and virtual attendees. Like in the previous conference edition, the participation of eminent experts in various fields is expected. The main goal and purpose of the event are the exchange of knowledge and experience, the establishment of international cooperation between researchers, as well as cooperation between young researchers - PhD students.

Kragujevac is the fourth largest city in Serbia and the administrative centre of the Šumadija District. Kragujevac was the first capital of modern Serbia and the place where the first constitution in the Balkans was proclaimed. Today, the city represents a modern industrial and commercial centre of the country. With its rich cultural heritage, Kragujevac is also recognised as the driver of cultural and educational development in the region of Šumadija and Pomoravlje. It enjoys the status of an education centre housing the University of Kragujevac, one of the region’s largest higher education institutions.

This year the conference will be held in "Hotel Kragujevac 4*". Dating back to 1966, the hotel ’’Kragujevac’’ is one of the most famous buildings in Kragujevac. Renowned for its highly personalized and impeccable service has been the centre of social life since it opened. Hotel ’’Kragujevac’’ has been building its name for years and became a centre of various events, cultural events, business and family gatherings, celebrations and seminars. Objectives

The International Conference on Chemo and Bioinformatics aims to bring together leading scientists, researchers and students to exchange and share experiences and research results on various aspects of the application of computer science and information-communication technologies in natural, technical, medical, biotechnical and social sciences. The conference will bring an interdisciplinary approach permeating all of these areas so that researchers can present their theoretical and experimental studies and discuss the practical challenges and ideas posed by new trends in modern science and technology. This kind of interdisciplinary approach will enable researchers to broaden their horizons and move boundaries to related scientific fields and disciplines, as well as unrelated fields and subfields.
